Here are the chef selected for the award 'First Course of the Fields' in 2017


Many nominations and very interesting proposals received from Italy and from abroad for the first edition of "First Course of the Fields Prize", organized by LSDM and Pastificio dei Campi in collaboration with Luciano PignataroWineBlog and MySocialRecipe. An arduous selection made from LSDM team has decreed participants from 20 to 26 pass through of ex aequo in the internal classification. Now the chefs, new professional talents, will have to prepare an original recipe by 23 December 2016, using the Pasta of Gragnano IGP of Pastificio dei Campi combined with a niche product typical of their territory, and presenting a craftsman in charge of production such product. The dishes will be judged by a jury of experts: Eleonora Cozzella, Anna Morelli, Gianluca Biscalchin.
The authors of the four finalist recipes will be invited to prepare their dishes during an evening event, to be held January 25, 2017, in Gragnano, at the Pastificio dei Campi, the end of which the jury will decide the winner. The winner of the first edition of the "First Course of the Fields Prize", two prestigious awards: the presentation of the dish LSDM Paestum in 2017 as a speaker and an invitation to dinner by the Pastificio dei Campi, with room for two people, an exclusive Italian restaurant or European.
